HanseGrand is a company with over 30 years of experience developing and producing a wide range of natural mineral mixtures for high-quality permeable pavement surfaces.
The variety of the material mixtures for pavements we offer are highly water and air-permeable, easy to install and to maintain, asphalt and concrete free. HanseGrand relies on regional quarries to produce its aggregate mineral mixtures to make short, cost-effective delivery routes and to reduce the CO2 emissions as much as possible. The high permeability of the pavements increases the water infiltration into the subsoil, reducing the flood risks, and regulating the urban microclimate due to the subsequent water evaporation from the pavement.
Based in Northern Germany, HanseGrand is active throughout Europe and counts with highlight projects, as the restoration of the Santiago de Compostela main square, or the ongoing renovation of the Versailles garden paths, as well as numerous installations using our products in zoos, museums, pedestrian and bicycle paths along the rivers, and many castle gardens across Germany, among other uses.
“The people at HanseGrand develop and combine building materials into systems that enable effective and natural solutions for the climatic challenges of our time.”
